As Bell MTS’s Vice President Business Solutions, Ryan has overall responsibility for all aspects and performance of Bell MTS’s business market segment including business communication services, data centre & Epic Information Solution portfolios. Ryan is a senior ICT executive with 20 years’ experience in business and technology. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan and a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.

Patricia Solman retired in 2017 from a 30 year career with BellMTS (previously MTS Inc). She held various executive levels positions within the organization, concluding her career as Senior Vice-President Network and Field Services. Prior to joining MTS, she was an auditor for Clarkson Gordon (now Ernst & Young). Patricia has served on a number of boards including, Chair – Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, Vice-Chair Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries, director Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, and trustee for the United Way.

Mariette Mulaire is currently a strategic advisor at the World Trade Centers Association in New York City. Previously, she served as the President and CEO of the World Trade Centre Winnipeg for 10 years starting in 2012. Prior to that, she held leadership positions in Manitoba’s Bilingual Trade Agency (ANIM) and the Economic Development Council for Manitoba Bilingual Municipalities (CDEM). Mariette has also worked with federal departments, including Western Economic Diversification Canada (WD) and Canadian Heritage, gaining extensive experience in economic development.

JP is the President and CEO of Payworks, a leading expert in human capital management solutions. With over 300 employees and 10 locations, Payworks provides cloud-based solutions to 20,000+ Canadian businesses. JP has extensive experience in transformative growth, previously serving as VP at MTS Allstream and holding senior positions at Ceridian Canada. He actively supports United Way Winnipeg and sits on multiple boards, including MTA and World Trade Centre Organization.

JP Perron

MTA Director
John is the senior vice-president and chief operating officer at Ontario Brain Institute (OBI). He provides executive leadership to OBI’s programming and operations, working to maximize the impact of neurosciences research and commercialization initiatives. Prior to OBI, John held executive positions in Manitoba’s government and healthcare sector for 23 years. He has served on numerous boards and committees and was a founding member of MTA.

John Clarkson

Jamie is a consultant assisting corporate clients with major events including divestitures, acquisitions, financing and recapitalization in addition to general strategy. Jamie has extensive executive finance and business experience having served most recently as the Chief Financial Officer of Tundra Oil and Gas and prior to that, Manitoba Hydro. Jamie has broad governance experience having served as a Chair or director of over a half dozen companies.

Over his distinguished 25-year professional career, Ian has brought tremendous growth to the organizations he has worked with. As Vice President Digital and Technology at Manitoba Hydro, Ian is responsible for the development of business and digital strategies. Ian has also been a dynamic member of the community serving as a director with several notable non-profit organizations.

Cathy is a highly respected and trusted leader in the information technology industry in Manitoba. She has over thirty-five years working at IBM, HP and Solvera Solutions with expertise and experience in: executive leadership, account/program management, contract and vendor management, change management, financial management, technology management and service/delivery management. Cathy is a proud supporter of the community through ongoing support of the United Way (Cabinet member 2008-2010) and numerous.
